Principal - Christopher Turner

I am honored to serve as the principal of Cedar Creek Elementary School and to be part of the Eagle family. I believe strong schools are built on the foundation of three essential principles: relationships, relevance, and rigor. My goal is to be a visible leader who works alongside staff, students, and families to create a positive, engaging environment where every child is challenged, supported, and inspired to succeed.

I bring 18 years of experience in education, serving students and families in a variety of leadership and instructional roles, including classroom teacher, special education department chair, instructional lead, assistant principal, and principal. Throughout my career, I have focused on building strong relationships, supporting high-quality instruction, fostering positive school culture, and creating meaningful partnerships with families and the community.

Most recently, I served as principal of a PreK–8 campus in Texas, where I led significant improvements in academic achievement, school culture, staff engagement, and family satisfaction. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential while empowering educators to do their best work.

I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Liberty University. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in English/Creative Writing from Binghamton University.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, walking my dog Skeeter, and cheering on my favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

I look forward to partnering with our students, staff, and families as we continue to make Cedar Creek Elementary a place where every child thrives.
